7 Summers To Change History

I produced and edited this video production, including the music score for Breakthrough Media. This production is meant to be a hard-hitting and emotional piece that delivers a message of urgency and communicates the need for change in our outreach approach towards the younger generation.

The second largest generation in history are now children and teens, and in 7 years the largest wave of them will be outside the window of their prime receptive years, making them the most critical segment of our society to reach. But will the same VBS programs and summer outreaches be enough? We believe there is one vastly overlooked key to winning the heart of this generation: the dreams of God inside.

Comment by suzanne creed on July 10, 2007 at 3:11pm: You are so right, if we Christians would just "listen" to the hearts of children, take time to really hear them, instead of getting them out of the house, sitting them in front of video games, tv, movies, computers, so they would be "out of our hair". The churches are falling short, so who is left to influence our kids/teens? Answer: the world! Our church is wanting to make a difference, but drawing them into a church building isn't going to work. We have to get out there in the neighborhoods, streets, and just listen to their cries. Church wake up, time is short, and we will be held accountable. It is a time of lax, laziness, comfortability, and God is not pleased with that. Thank you Corey for creating this video to help wake up God's people to move out and "do" something to help make a difference. God bless all your efforts.
